Clethra alnifolia 'Crystalina' PP21561 is commonly referred to as Sugartina® Crystalina Summersweet. It is a dwarf Summersweet with fragrant, pristine white, bottlebrush-like flower spikes that are attractive to butterflies, bees and other beneficial pollinators. Serrated, dark green leaves turn an attractive yellow in fall.
Sugartina® Crystalina Summersweet is a Proven Winners® Color Choice® selection that is noteworthy for blooming beautifully in shady areas. It enjoys full sun to part shade and acidic, fertile, moist, soils. Do not let the soil dry out. It is ideal for woodland, understory areas and areas near ponds or streams.
